The Breezygangaroo [Macropodidae Gastronomicus Procrastinatorus ]: Until the recent discovery of the Breezygangaroo, the only known North American marsupial was the Opossum [Didelphis Virginiana ]. The Breezygangaroo is unusual among marsupials. Its pouch, or marsupium, is not utilized for the usual purpose of nurturing offspring. Instead it is used to store culinary implements such as knives, forks, spoons, whisks, spatulas, bowls, plates, sauté pans, etc. This is the only known marsupial able to prepare gastronomic delights. For that reason, this member of our menagerie is constantly excusing itself to prepare dinner for itself and its mate. It is also a Master of Procrastination. It might be tempting to state it is a Doctor of Procrastination, but as of this writing, for some reason, the Breezygangaroo has put off completing its doctoral thesis, although it has cooked up some delicious lamb chops. One area where procrastination does not apply to this marsupial is its dedication to and respect for the Ysabella Raven [Aves Musicus Prolificus ].
