The Goosidus [Aves Lucidus Goosidus ]: The Goosidus is an aquatic fowl which inhabits the lowlands of northwestern Europe. It is the only bird known to wear wooden shoes and drive a motorcycle. Nurturing its young is a very difficult task for the Goosidus because it tends to build its nest in the rotating blades of windmills. It must also hold its breath for extended periods because vast areas of the Netherlands are below sea level. The poverty level of the Goosidus is on par with that of the Po’ Hen [Aviatorus Fedexus Povertius ] — not because of the devious workings of the Uppsalamander [Caudata Andersus Uppsalus ], but because the Goosidus invests all its assets in the tulip futures commodities market. Its adoration for the Ysabella Raven [Aves Musicus Prolificus ] is legendary.
