The Ysabella Raven [Aves Musicus Prolificus ]: This stunningly beautiful and extremely rare bird is indigenous to central California, North America. Her spectacular delicate plumage is golden blonde, although it frequently becomes dark brown in the Fall. She preens her plumage with great regularity because it is somewhat unruly and seems to have a mind of its own. She can readily change her appearance to confuse the other specimens in our menagerie. This is a self defense mechanism as all of our other specimens are insatiably attracted to the lovely Ysabella Raven. As a precautionary measure her enclosure has been reinforced with electrified high carbon steel bars to insure her privacy and safety. Ours is the world’s only known specimen, hence she is the most highly prized in our collection and is of inestimable value. Her sweet songs are irresistible and always original. She never sounds the same on any two occasions. The Ysabella Raven is much wiser than an Owl [Aves Neornithes ] and far more clever than a Fox [Carnivora Canidae ]. In fact, she is one of the most intelligent animals known to man.
