I have created a PalTalk chat room for the community. When the room is closed, only Admins may open it and the sign in will not be available. Once open, the room does not close until an Admin closes it or the last occupant vacates the room.

If the room is open, you may join it using the Sign In box which is displayed only when the room is open.

You may wish to go to http://www.paltalk.com and download their PalTalk Express chat client. It is free and permits limited video/audio/text chat capabilities, file transfer, and instant messaging, among other features.

Community standards apply to the chat room. Please conduct yourself accordingly. To review our community standards, you may read them in the Member Guidelines section of the Forum, here: http://riffroof.grou.ps/talks/6608923.

The room will probably be closed most of the time since it was designed for use during community events. Nevertheless, you should check in here from time to time. As Thomas "Fats" Waller said, "One never knows, do one?" Whenever the room is to be used for a community event, an announcement to that effect will be made on the home page.

Your Spambusters are always on the job and offer the Adblocker program to all who wish to receive it.

The Adblocker program stops those annoying and distracting banner advertisements from flashing on websites. Because the PalTalk room is free, while in the room a banner advertisement flashes at the bottom of the window.

Once on your desktop, merely click on the Adblocker icon and select "Block the Ads." This will stop the offensive advertisement in its tracks, eliminating this spam-like distraction from the PalTalk window, or any website where banner ads may offend.

Simply contact your Spambusters through the Community Post Office, and we will gladly supply you with this most useful tool. It is freeware and may be freely distributed accordingly.
